Interdisciplinary (Title 5) (Permanent)

NOTE:Qualifications are based on breadth/level of experience. WHO CAN APPLY:
GROUP A - All On Board Federal National Guard Employees within Virginia National Guard.
GROUP B - All current Federal Employees (from any agency), all federal re-employable eligible, and/or current Army M-Day and Air DSG within VANG.
GROUP C - All U.S. Citizens.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience or training in general engineering, architectural engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least 24 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-11 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as:

1. Experience planning and scheduling work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution.
2. Experience being responsible for the acquisition, construction, maintenance, repair, and operating of real property facilities, and provides related management, engineering, and other support work.
3. Experience determining operational trends and forecasts requirements.
4. Experience providing technical instructions and information on architectural, engineering and other technical requirements and assigns phases of projects to subordinate architects, engineers, engineering technician
