Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a Interdisciplinary (Title 5) (Permanent), Position Description Number T5904800 and is part of the VA 192 FTR WG, National Guard.
Requirements
Conditions of Employment
- Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- This position is not located in a bargaining unit.
- This Recruitment Incentive will increase this position's annual salary 10% for 4 years paid bi-weekly.
- The employee will sign a 4-year Continuing Service Agreement (eff upon start date).
- This Recruitment Incentive makes the starting salary competitive with market rates for employees with similar qualifications and experience.
- The Air Comptroller has validated the availability of Civ Pay funding to cover this incentive.
Qualifications

WHO CAN APPLY:
GROUP A - All On Board Federal National Guard Employees within Virginia National Guard.
GROUP B - All current Federal Employees (from any agency), all federal re-employable eligible, and/or current Army M-Day and Air DSG within VANG.
GROUP C - All U.S. Citizens.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience or training in general engineering, architectural engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering.
- Experience planning and scheduling work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution.
- Experience being responsible for the acquisition, construction, maintenance, repair, and operating of real property facilities, and provides related management, engineering, and other support work.
- Experience determining operational trends and forecasts requirements.
- Experience providing technical instructions and information on architectural, engineering and other technical requirements and assigns phases of projects to subordinate architects, engineers, engineering technician
