Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Metal Framing professional to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal framing techniques and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. This role is essential for ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our projects, contributing to the successful completion of residential and commercial buildings. Duties • Install metal framing systems for warehouses, and other structures according to specifications. • Collaborate with construction management to ensure projects are completed on time and within guidelines. • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting and assembling metal frames. • Perform tasks related to erecting of Wharehouse Racking. • Restore or repair existing metal frameworks to maintain structural integrity. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. • Assist in lifting and hoisting columns into position. • Work typical shifts of 8-10-hour days, 5-6 days per week, with scheduling determined by the site General Contractor (GC) • Operate within crews typically ranging from 6 to 18 workers, depending on project scope Experience • Proven experience in frame carpentry or a related field is preferred. • Familiarity with construction management principles is a plus. • Hands-on experience with masonry, drywall installation. • Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is beneficial.
