About the Role:
Torc’s Corporate Communication team is responsible for defining and managing the overall Torc brand in close collaboration with the Leadership team, Torc Safety Board and Corporate Strategy.  Â
We collaborate across Torc and our partners to develop external communication campaigns, message framework, and content for both internal and external stakeholders Come join us in as we grow Torc’s brand in the autonomous trucking industry.
This internship is a part-time position for Spring 2022. Public Relations interns are responsible for supporting press events, interviews, and various collateral such as press releases. The intern may assist with messaging, media relations, and some marketing events and collateral.
What you must have:
- Currently enrolled in Junior, Senior or first year of Masters degree program in Communication, Marketing, Journalism (or other related degrees)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of social media platforms, posting, and trends.
- Sound knowledge using MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite to develop graphics, media, and reports
- Experience in developing professional presentation decks
- Curiosity and learning mindset
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail
Bonus points!
- Previous practical experience in marketing or communication from internships, co-ops or similar programs
- Practical experience in designing graphics and signage
