Salary Range: $17 per hour
Role Summary:
The Program Management Intern is a member of the Program Management team, whose mission is to facilitate and fuel the execution of corporate strategies. Through Kargo's Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework, this team creates synergy across strategic investments and cross-functional initiatives to ensure key milestones are met successfully. In this position, you will support the Program Management coach overseeing 1-2 high priority strategic programs with a focus on the Go To Market launch process for any new and upcoming product releases
The summer internship program runs for 10 weeks from June 3 to August 9. All internship positions are paid. This will be a full-time internship with up to 40 hours a week from Monday through Friday with the expectation of 3x in the office.
What You'll Do:
- Be a catalyst for change in the organization, lead with authority and handle evolving change efforts by establishing excellent rapport with stakeholders
- Works with PMO lead to align initiatives to strategic objectives and key results
- Within a program:
- Ensures alignment across business owners and partners with stakeholders to deliver expected results
- Defines roles, responsibilities, decision-making authority, and policy
- Identifies stakeholders, engages, and develops an effective communication plan
- Proactively identifies and manages cross-functional dependencies
- Identifies, analyzes, prioritizes, and manages bottlenecks & risks
- Ensures benefits are identified and planned for; assessing progress towards benefits achievement
- Directly coordinates key deliverables for high priority programs
- Reports on progress against milestones, deliverables, and outcomes at each stage of a program to program stakeholders
- Monitor and track program goals, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Manages key program documents so that all stakeholders have clear and easy access to critical information
Who You Are:
- Interest in the advertising technology industry in a program management, product, operations, or account management role
- Experience in a strategic, analytical and operational role in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable either taking initiatives from conception to launch or jumping into a pre-existing program and optimizing output
- Enjoy working amidst ambiguity, being resourceful to execute on complex projects
- Process-oriented mindset and ability to work with people to get things done
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and tool development
- Experience with organizational/planning tools
- Excellent organizational skills and sense of prioritization
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong active listening and questioning skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
