You'll collaborate with technology leaders and other developers to undertake a challenging project that will provide the opportunity for you to learn about new technologies, develop or enhance your skills, and make significant contributions to innovation at Zions Bancorp.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in discussions regarding software development proof-of-concepts, strategies and approaches for customer and banking solutions

• Code, test, and document solutions for creating Zions Bancorp products

• Troubleshoot and debug challenging technical problems.

• Research, investigate and define new areas of technology to enhance experiences

• Collaborate with team members, technical leads, and contractors to produce excellence

• Document software designs via functional specifications

• Support the cross-functional team by assisting in research related to industry developments, competitive analysis/trends, and POC results

• Prepare and present findings and results to help with data driven decisions

• Participate in roadmap discussions and pros and cons comparisons

• Other activities as discovered and determined related to learnings

Qualifications:

• Current student enrolled in a technical discipline working toward a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied and Computational Math Sciences or related degree

• Completed a Data Structures course in a modern, object-oriented programming language or possess equivalent knowledge

• Confidence with Java, C++, or Spring Boot
