Are you interested in an Intern opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) or graduate (MS) degree in Computer Science or related field to participate in 3 month paid intern opportunities at our site in San Diego, CA. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in engineering for a HealthTech company.

You will be part of Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics Heart, R&D organization team. As a Software Engineer in Test, you'll be a part of highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum teams within the ECG Solutions group. You will help the team with test automation of our ECF Solution Software Products help team achieving faster software delivery.

Your role:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design test cases.
• Execute test cases and document results to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes.
• Use testing frameworks and tools for automated testing.
• Work closely with software developers to identify and resolve software defects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide input on software quality.

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript. Python).
• Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $28.00 to $35.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
