Intern Undergrad Admin

We are looking for a talented individual who can create employee and customer experiences that wow! In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team where you can bring your whole self to work every day. You will engage with employees to highlight successes, ensure they are informed of critical topics, and support site-specific communications and events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and distribute site-specific communications to the employee population.
• Working towards a bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field
• Contribute to internal and external key messages.
• Assist with storytelling of business success, employee highlights, and more, in creative and engaging ways.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute events, trainings, operational orientations.
• Storytelling to support the needs of the business, including writing, editing, and proofreading. Graphic design and photography and/or videography skills are a plus.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to support new hire engagement, employee engagement, and build relationships.
• Collaborate with Safety teams to understand their internal communications needs and deploy strategies to meet those needs.
• Perform other duties as may be required as related to internal communications.

Education and/or Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong working knowledge of a variety of employee engagement
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and execute successful campaigns and projects.

• Project management skills,
• Negotiation skills,
• Leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Adobe Illustrator, in Design, and Premier Pro is a plus.

Compensation:

Co-op compensation is determined by class level (i.e. Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors etc.)

Pay range: $16.82 - $24.26.
