Summary

The Windows Engineering Team is seeking an intern to join our talented group in Boise, Idaho. This team is comprised of two sub-teams focused on engineering solutions to support our on-premise Windows infrastructure and administering our on-premise Database Management Systems (primarily SQL Server). We strive to incorporate DevOps driven approaches into our engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain (patch and upgrade) scalable, resilient and secure Windows technology solutions in support of COTS and internally developed applications
• Maintain Active Directory services (PKI, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS environments (including patching and upgrades)
• Build and maintain standards-based, reliable data platform solutions for the global enterprise
• Contribute to scripting and enhancing elements of lower environment refreshes and SQL Server auditing
• Treat infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices
• Collaborate within the team using Git and Azure DevOps

Typical Education

Attending a 4 year college/university

Relevant Experience

• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• Completed database course(s)
• A collaborative, team focus and a passion for people
• Excellent communication and business engagement skills
• The inclination to continuously learn and to evolve your technical skills

Other Information

Experience with Ansible , Splunk or Active Directory (AD) Services would be a plus!
