Internal Communications Manager

The Position

We are seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.
What you get to do:

• Build and own an internal communications program , and manage the company-wide internal communications schedule.
• Establish internal communications protocols and tools and guide ELT on communications best practices.
• Write executive and company internal communications material, and collaborate to design and produce any visual materials, including;
• All Hands
• Upsite and other events
• Announcements
• Message cascades
• Executive presentations
• Board communications
• All-company email content and schedule
• Intranet pages
• Change management and transformation programs
• Work closely with the Marketing, People, Strategy and Executive teams to align internal and external messages.
• Support communications on Uplight's culture and Talent Brand , including internal, candidate and social media communications.
• Deliver communications across various communication channels, including email, Slack, company meetings, Board meetings, social media and more.
• Monitor internal and external communications channels for feedback and comments, triage and address as needed, and analyze and report insights.

What you bring to Uplight:

• Has done this role in a for-profit company at least at a manager level
• Likely 5+ years of experience, with career progression as an individual contributor and at a management level.
• Able to cover everything as an individual contributor, from strategy through execution
• Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams
• Industry experience is not critical, but energy and/or tech company experience helpful
• Experience at fast-growing, scaling and changing organizations is important

Salary Range : $110,000 to $140,000 USD
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
