Internal & External Communications Lead, SDI & GTM

About this role:

This position will develop and execute a strategic communications program that drives employee engagement and business results. Supporting the Strategy, Digital & Innovation (SDI) & Global Treasury Management (GTM) organizations, this position will translate business strategies into content that informs, engages, and inspires the target market. This position can office in Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; or West Des Moines, IA and does not offer relocation assistance. The Wells Fargo job profile is Lead Communications Consultant.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to Senior Leaders in SDI & GTM
• Develop multifaceted communication campaigns including internal and external communication strategies and plans that drive business priorities
• Ensure integrated communications approach to internal and external communications
• Write and edit press releases, media pitches, key messages, talking points and other content
• Identify strategic storytelling opportunities that promote executive(s) and key initiatives
• Identify external speaking and/or social media opportunities
• Pitch and respond to reporters from key national print, newswire, radio and broadcast media outlets
• Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives
• Partner with other communicators to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience developing internal and external communications strategies and plans
• Experience securing broadcast and print media opportunities with national and trade media outlets
• Experience prepping executives for media interviews or speaking engagements
• Experience building strong relationships with national business and trade news media
• Experience writing stories across various social, internal, and digital channels
• Experience developing compelling content and leveraging multiple channels for creative storytelling

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
