Opportunity Details
- Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule: Inpatient shift-based only
- Location: Grand Rapids, MI
- Specialty: Internal Medicine
- Hospital Info: Level II Trauma Center; team admits and provides consultative services to all Internal Medicine patients, including PMU
- Team Size: 27 Physicians and 16 APPs
- Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
- Call Requirements: No call

Requirements
- Open to experienced or new graduate Internal Medicine Physicians
- Physicians: Shall be board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or is board eligible and will become board certified within five years following the Start Date (unless sooner required by the applicable medical staff bylaws)
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
