Job Description

Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is currently seeking an intermediate level military strategy and policy analyst. The successful candidate will work in direct support of the Joint Counter small-Unmanned Systems Office (JCO) in Arlington, VA.

The incumbent will provide expert analysis and advice to support senior leaders in the Counter-UAS mission area as it pertains to policy, regulations, and statutes.

Develops, synchronizes, and integrates DoD and military service Counter-UAS policy across community stakeholders to include coordination with international and NATO partners.

Supports JCO senior leaders on policy, regulatory and statutory matters and represents the JCO at Joint and Interagency C-UAS governance forums, including Senior Steering Group participation.

Develops and synchronizes stakeholder responses to Congressional, OSD and interagency inquires relating to the mission area. Leads efforts to ensure compliance with DoD and interagency policy and federal law in the implementation of Counter-UAS programs in the homeland and abroad.

Job Requirements

The candidate must possess a solid understanding of the policies, regulations and statutes that govern the Counter-UAS mission.

Must also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and specifically be comfortable and able to convey ideas to Senior Leaders.

Candidates with former military senior staff experience is preferred.

A Bachelors degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.

This position requires regular travel including internationally (approx. 20%).

Candidates must possess a current Secret security clearance.
