This position is responsible for providing world class customer service by demonstrating the ability to accurately answer customer questions, properly escalate technical issues and resolve specific product related issues while maximizing customer satisfaction. This position will act as the primary liaison between Konami and our international distributors and will respond to, resolve, and document all incoming cases reported via telephone, email, and other support channels as required.

The International customer service representative is responsible for reviewing assigned international customer orders and ensuring all information is complete. They work with customers to ensure orders are placed correctly, expedite orders when necessary, report on order status, and answer product questions. They must also learn product information and track distributor inventory levels. This position requires a keen eye for detail and must have the ability to handle multiple tasks.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide Games product support for all Konami Distributors
  • Coordinate Machine and Spare Shipments for our International Distributors
  • Research, investigate and delegate all assigned support/service problems and issues.
  • Facilitate prompt, open, and direct communication with distributors, technicians, logistics and Sales.
  • Ensure Konami and Distributor expectations are aligned.
  • Coordinate activities, with distributors and other departments, as necessary, to resolve reported problems.
  • Coordinate specific activities involved in the shipment of Konami games and signs.
  • Prepare FAQ's, Knowledge articles, upgrade notes, how-to documents and other support documents.
  • Utilize customer support soft skills to maintain a positive working relationship between Konami and its distributors.
  • Assist in eliminating single points of failure and create documented plan for sustainability.
  • Participate in new projects and/or creating new process documentation
  • Answer all incoming calls from distributors and provide back up for customer support on a rotational basis.
  • Handle issues with diplomacy, tact and in a professional manner.
  • Escalate critical issues to management in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures.

What skills and expertise do you bring to the job?

  • Some College/Associates Degree with emphasis in a Customer Service-related field is preferred or a comparable combination of experience and education.
  • Degree or certification in gaming-related field highly preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in customer service, technical help desk, and/or call center support.
  • Demonstrated slot machine technical support experience preferred.
  • Customer Service client service skills which include scheduling, project management, understanding and referencing service manuals and engineering drawings.
  • Hands on ability to use and explain all Microsoft Office products. Experienced working with ERP, CRM, Knowledgebase, and Portal applications.

This position is located in our Las Vegas, Nevada office. Relocation and remote is not available for this role.
