Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Baltic Client Innovation Centre in Lithuania is hiring Data Science/Developer interns. Candidates must have interest & experience in one or more areas relevant to the knowledge engineering life cycle such as natural language processing information integration entity resolution machine learning ontologies large-scale data management development of statistical models. In this role you will get an opportunity to learn and work on real projects with some of the best professionals in the market.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 6-month experience in one or more areas relevant to the knowledge engineering life cycle such as:
• natural language processing;
• information integration;
• entity resolution;
• machine learning;
• ontologies;
• large-scale data management;
• Fluent English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Expertise:
• Basic understanding of Large Language models.
• Application experience / knowledge of statistical techniques such as regression correlation classification and clustering methods;
• Experienced with industrial / academic projects in data mining and machine learning methods like SVM Regression Modeling Survival Modeling Time Series Modeling Market Basket Analysis Bayesian / Neural Networks is a plus;
• Application experience / knowledge of linear programming mathematical optimization CPLEX algorithm is a plus;
• Ability to conceptualize the right analytical solution and algorithms to address specific business problems;
• Application experience / knowledge and hands on coding skills in Python/R SAS/SPSS;
• Experience in Software Development.
