Inventory & Distribution Manager

Job Description:

Oversees the operations, customer service, administration and systems within a distribution center. Responsible for receiving, storing and distributing finished goods. Uses computerized systems to monitor stock levels, fulfills customer orders, ships and delivers merchandise to customer warehouse, wholesale or retail outlets. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and have a company-wide effect. Typically manages one or more departments of Professional track employees and may have subordinate Supervisors.
