About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Advanced certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.
- This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Specialized experience is defined as: Serving as an Inventory Management Specialist (Procurement Coordinator) focused on managing procurement actions, contracts, acquisition requirement packages, and/or monitoring vendor performance. As a Procurement Coordinator you have experience at the NH-02 level for initiating and coordinating acquisition requirements, developing requirements packages and acquisition strategies that support the efficient and effective management of an assigned procurement program, and tracking and evaluating supplier performance.

- This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-13, step 05 base salary, or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-13, step 05 level the incumbent' s salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbents existing salary.
- This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (Acq Demo) position in the NH-03 broadband, subject to the CECOM control point policy. Management will set the pay for this position consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position.
- This is a DoD Acquisition Demonstration Project position. Under the Defense Authorization Act, personnel management demonstration programs are operating in numerous Army activities and various other organizations supported by Army civilian personnel centers. Under the streamlined personnel operations for demonstration projects, the familiar 15 General Schedule grade structure is replaced with broad pay bands that typically encompass a range of grades. Other initiatives under the demonstration projects include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process, and expanded developmental opportunities. This position is subject to the Command's policy regarding control points. The salary for this position ranges from the equivalent of GS-12/step 1 to GS-13/step 05.
- This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-13, step 05 base salary, or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-13, step 05 level the incumbent's salary may be put on a salary control point at the incumbent's existing salary.
- Superior qualifications and special needs pay setting may be authorized at managements discretion for eligible candidates.
- Salary negotiations for those candidates who are new to Federal service may be authorized.
- Relocation and Recruitment Incentive will not be authorized.
- Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) will not be authorized.
- Credit for Prior Non-Federal Work Experience and Certain Military Service for Determining Annual Leave Accrual Rate will not be authorized.
