Freenome is a high-growth biotech company on a mission since 2014 to create tools that empower everyone to prevent, detect, and treat their disease. To achieve this mission, Freenome is developing next-generation blood tests to detect cancer in its earliest, most treatable stages using our multiomics platform and machine learning techniques. Our first blood test will detect early-stage colorectal cancer and advanced adenomas.
About the Role - Contract to hireÂ
Our Inventory Specialist will help set up and manage our warehouses to support our Clinical Lab Operations.
Your contribution:
- Receive and ship materials a to support Clinical and R&D OperationsÂ
 - Maintain good record keeping of physical/virtual records of all inbound and outbound material.
 - Accurately enter data and perform inventory transactions with the ERP system with a high level of detail
 - Maintain and follow Inventory controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Clinical Lab Procedures and SOX regulationsÂ
 - Ensure material availability in all laboratory and stockroomÂ
 - Assist in routine support tasks, projects and initiatives to keep inventory locations secured, organized, and suppliedÂ
 - Perform routine cycle counts as assigned Â
 - Perform monthly and quarterly inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy
Retrieve and review expiry reports to segregate/quarantine and scrap expired material - Review inventory requests and prepare kits for R&D studies and Commercial ProductionÂ
 - Comply with all company, environmental, health and safety policies and proceduresÂ
 - Perform other duties as assignedÂ

Your background, perspective and experience:Â
- ISO 13485/CLIA experience preferred
 - 3+ years working experience in inventory management and warehouse operations within a regulated industryÂ
 - Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs
 - Ability to stand/walk for long periods of timeÂ
 - Proficiency to execute transactions within an ERP required, NetSuite preferredÂ
 - Demonstrate strong organizational skills with a attention to detail
 - Capability to manage multiple workflows and competing priorities while exercising good business judgmentÂ
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites (Words, Excel, PowerPoint); preferable Google Suites
 - Ability and willingness to adapt in a dynamic environment and cross train across different warehouse functionsÂ
 - Must be able to work outside of the regular business hours to help support the goals of Freenome. Occasional weekend and overtime may be required

About the Role
Our Inventory Specialist will help set up and manage our warehouses to support our Clinical Lab Operations.
Your contribution:
- Ensure proper transaction execution for all inventory movements throughout Clinical Operations
 - Follow Inventory controls and procedures to ensure Compliance with Clinical Lab Procedures and Requirements
 - Receive all incoming and outgoing Materials
 - Maintain physical and virtual records of all inbound and outbound shipments
 - Perform cycle counts as a daily routine
 - Count a subsequent amount of inventory every day to ensure on-hands of selected locations are accurate physically and systematicallyÂ
 - Ensure proper physical controls regarding inventory are in place and monitored
 - Perform inventory preparation and manage physical inventory process for inventory audits (Monthly and Quarterly)
 - Perform cycle counts as a daily routine.
 - Update inventory management systems when Transfer Orders or Purchase orders move in or out of location.
 - Work with Clinical Operations to ensure inventory is accurate at all times
 
Your background, perspective and experience:Â
- ISO 13485/CLIA experience preferred
 - 3+ years working knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures, preferably within a regulated industryÂ
 - Knowledge and experience using Inventory Systems.
 - Highly organized with a relentless attention to detail.
 - Good problem solving skills
 - Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
