Job Description

Primary function of the position:

IQC Inspector will be performing inspections of purchased parts, assemblies and products to ensure incoming specifications have been met prior to release to manufacturing and finished goods.  Document and communicate the results of inspections.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections (dimensional, visual and documentation) using suitable measuring devices) of micro-optical; mechanical or electronic components according to drawings or other specifications as part of the production process
• Operation of standard measuring devices during various inspections
• Handling materials in accordance with specifications to avoid confusion, damage, or other adverse effect
• Self-monitoring with respect to compliance with quality requirements in accordance with specification.
• Preparation of quality documentation in hard copy and digital form (Word, Excel, SAP, Q360)
• Follows all corporate, safety and production procedures and regulations

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Successfully completed apprenticeship as a precision optician or as a precision mechanic, watchmaker or similar
• Confident handling of standard measuring devices
• Understanding of technical drawings and specifications
• Ability to work with small components, fine motor skills required
• Interest in technical contexts
• Good communication and documentation skills in Bulgarian and basic knowledge of the English Language
• Basic knowledge of the MS-Office applications
