Summary

The IT Application Developer works with HSC Business Users and project teams to understand business requirements, develop project scope, generate creative ideas for solutions and functional specifications for budget and proposed solutions. Application Developer will utilize existing tools and code sets or develop new tools so that the final application is optimized and also provide technical user break/fix and small enhancement support there after.

Essential Functions

• Create and maintain HSC applications including ASP .NET, SAP MII
• Design and develop application integration services (i.e., Tibco Business Works ESB)
• Work with DBA to design, create and maintain Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers and other databased objects using Transactional SQL and/or other ETL environments.
• Work with project teams to prepare project task and development estimates
• Effective version control and deployment of application logic
• Test, debug, document and implement project solutions
• Create front-end user experience that best accomplish project requirements

Skills

• Skilled and well versed in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience and proficient in multiple development languages including C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, XSL, XML C++, CSS & R
• Familiar with technologies such as AJAX, Web Services, OOP, OOD
• Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) preferred.
• Experience working within SDLC methodologies including Agile
• Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence (MII) development experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to learn quickly and independently and to work in a technically complex environment.
• Ability to engage in concurrent scheduled project/development tasks.

Work Experience

• Experienced on modern Web Application development including 3-5 years Microsoft .Net (required)
• Manufacturing/Operations experience is a plus.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar technical discipline or equivalent.
