Position Type :Full time Type Of Hire :Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired :Bachelor of Computer Science Job Description FIS Management Services, LLC seeks IT Architects-Implementation Architect (Cloud Technologies) in Jacksonville, FL to recommend, design, and implement effective and efficient virtual and cloud system architecture solutions for various programs to support business requirements. Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, including analysis, high-level design, detailed design, and testing, following approved lifecycle methodologies. Design systems and modeling applications to ensure sub-systems, system components, and integrations work as a whole system. Gather functional and non-functional requirements from the client and non-technical resources, working as technical liaison between development, implementation teams and client. Create design documents and build capabilities that support on-demand access for dynamic systems. Install, maintain, and upgrade internal computer software systems used for designing and developing company products. Propose and implement systems enhancements to improve the reliability and performance of systems and monitor usage and performance. Provide technical support in IBM OpenShift, Microsoft Azure, and AWS cloud environments. Understanding of technologies with the focus on delivering business solutions. Evaluate and recommend software and hardware products. Recommend, schedule, and implement system software upgrades and repairs. Test and evaluate new technologies to ensure compatibility and functionality. Promote best practices in DevOps processes, cultivate collaborative culture while ensuring alignment with 12-factor application design. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: working with Modern DevOps engineering base tools and practices including Jenkins, Helm, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, Atlassian tools, Splunk, Maven, Git and Akamai; utilizing cloud and virtualization technologies including IBM OpenShift, Microsoft AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services) and AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and VMWare vSphere; utilizing ecosystem of open source components including Cloudera Hadoop cluster; working with WSO2 API Gateway for building, integrating, and exposing digital services; managing OKTA for customizing, securing, and dropping-in solutions to add authentication and authorization services to applications; utilizing MSSQL and/or Oracle database system; working with tools and technologies including JBOSS and/or IBM WebSphere, RHEL (RedHat UNIX); operating in an Agile environment; utilizing banking applications including core processing and digital channel applications; designing systems and modelling application to ensure sub-systems, system components and integrations point works as a whole system; and gathering functional and non-functional requirements from client and from non-technical resources. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and four (4) years of experience in the above listed skills.
