IT Compliance Analyst
Location:Austin, TX
Duration:6 month contract-to-hire
Compensation:$50 - $55 / Hour
Work schedule:Monday-Friday (8 AM-5PM CST) - onsite 3x per week
Benefits:This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k)
Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT Compliance or Audit.
• Preferred: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification and experience in public accounting (Big 4).
Purpose & Scope:The IT Compliance Analyst ensures the organization adheres to regulatory standards and internal policies. This role involves implementing and maintaining IT control environments, translating compliance requirements into actionable solutions, and advising leadership on regulatory impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate IT risk management processes, including assessments and mitigation planning.
• Conduct control evaluations for systems and processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to safeguard information assets.
• Monitor and report on control effectiveness.
• Maintain documentation for SOX 404 and SOC 2 compliance.
• Identify and implement IT controls aligned with laws and best practices.
• Support audit responses and remediation efforts.
• Serve as a primary contact for IT compliance inquiries.
Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of IT compliance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, FFIEC).
• Experience with control walkthroughs, testing, and documentation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
