IT Engineer

Wunderkind is seeking an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial-minded IT Specialist professional who enjoys meaningful technical problems and challenges in a dynamic and fast paced mature startup environment. Beyond the normal duties stated below, this individual will be encouraged to seek out areas of improvement, automation, and skills development to further their career in IT. Training and other learning opportunities will be provided, but independent research and learning is also expected.

Knowledge areas desired:

1. IT Ticketing and Escalation Processes
2. Directory Services and Permissions
3. Apple enterprise endpoint management concepts (macOS, iOS)
4. Audio-Visual: Webinars, Conferencing, et. al. set-up and configuration
5. Above average language and written communication skills
6. Application services management and troubleshooting
7. Basic understanding of security concepts

Beyond technical skills, candidates will be expected to possess the following:

1. Be calm, focused, and accountable.
2. Doesn’t pretend to know everything but does know how to find the answers.

4. Enjoy collaboration with any level of the business, technical or not.

Core Technical Competencies (not all required):

1. End-user services management of the following:
• Jira and Confluence
• Google Workspace
• Okta
• Zoom
• Slack
• Jamf / Intune (95% macOS / 5% Windows)
• Others per need
2. Audio-Visual concepts, configurations and capabilities
3. Basic network knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs and WAPs)

The base salary range for this role is $68,000-$80,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.

CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN NYC METRO AREA

LOCATION: MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY

WORKING HOURS: 9am to 6pm M-F
