Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Technical Infrastructure
· Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
· Manage and optimize server environments (physical and virtual) across on-premises and cloud platforms
· Administer Microsoft 365 suite and Azure cloud services
· Manage Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access management
· Deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, and related services
· Implement and monitor security protocols, policies, and best practices
· Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
· Perform system updates, patches, and security assessments
· Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
User Support & Help Desk
· Provide first and second-level technical support to end users
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
· Document support cases and maintain knowledge base
· Train users on new systems and technologies
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
· Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline IT processes
· Research and recommend new technologies and solutions
· Implement modern tools for monitoring, management, and efficiency
· Participate in IT strategy and planning initiatives

Technical Skills
Cloud & Enterprise Platforms
·Microsoft 365: Administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related services
·Azure: Experience with Azure infrastructure, virtual machines, storage, and networking
·Entra ID (Azure AD): User management, group policies, conditional access, and single sign-on
·AWS: Proficiency with EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and core AWS services
·Hybrid Cloud: Experience integrating on-premises and cloud environments
Networking & Infrastructure Fundamentals
·Core Protocols: Deep understanding of DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SSH, SNMP, NTP, and LDAP
·Networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching, and network security
·Communication: Serial communication, RS-232, console connections, and out-of-band management
·Network Services: DHCP scopes, DNS zones, mail flow, and directory services
·Wireless: 802.11 standards, wireless security (WPA3, EAP), and enterprise wireless deployments
·Firewalls:Understanding of rules, nat, forwards, whitelists, blacklists and other firewall-related concepts.

·Operating Systems: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
·Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes basics)
·Active Directory: Domain controllers, Group Policy, trusts, and forest management
·Web Services: IIS, Apache, Nginx, SSL/TLS certificates, and load balancing
Security & Compliance
·Endpoint Security: Antivirus, EDR solutions, patch management, and mobile device management
·Network Security: Firewalls (pfSense, SonicWall, Cisco ASA), VPN, and intrusion detection/prevention
·Identity Security: Multi-factor authentication, privileged access management, and zero trust principles
·Compliance: Understanding of frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and GDPR
Backup & Disaster Recovery
·Backup Solutions: Veeam (preferred), Azure Backup, AWS Backup, and traditional backup systems
·Disaster Recovery: RTO/RPO planning, failover procedures, and business continuity
·Data Protection: Backup verification, restoration testing, and offsite storage strategies
Monitoring & Management Tools
·ITSM Platforms: ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar ticketing systems
·Monitoring: Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch
·Remote Management: RMM tools, PowerShell, SSH, and automation scripts

· 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or cloud engineering
· Experience with AI-powered IT tools, automation platforms, and DevOps practices
· Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (ITIL) and advanced ticketing systems
· Experience in regulated industries requiring compliance and audit support
