Opportunity:
Virtual Service Operations is searching for highly motivated and career-driven individuals to join our growing team as IT Helpdesk Security Analyst in Richardson, TX. In this role you will work as part of a team to administrate the security aspects of an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities of the IT Help Desk Security Analyst:
• Initial point of contact for users via telephone, email, face-2-face to provide technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems and/or applications
• Assist with navigating around application menus, may be required to remote into the user's computer
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, working with remote employees on a VPN
• Develop and sustain an effective and productive user relationship, making them and their needs a primary focus
• Offer alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of going the extra mile to resolve issues
• Escalate complex problems to the L2/L3 staff
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with PKI certificates and RSA authentication support
• Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords
• Previous computer technical support preferred
• Strong knowledge of Network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, locating IP or TCP/IP addresses, VPN software, supporting remote users
• Proficient with troubleshooting all Windows Operating system
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email issues
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Outstanding customer skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot and resolve customer's issues
• Current CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE or Security+ CE certifications a plusRequirements:
• Must be within driving distance of Richardson, TX and willing to work onsite 2 days a week
• Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
• This position requires assigned team members to comply with drug testing, at time of hire or at regular or random intervals.
