IT Lead

We are hiring an IT Lead. As an IT Lead at Testlio, you will lead and establish scalable, efficient, and modern IT services in a distributed environment, across the globe, to enable employees to work smart and be focused on their day-to-day tasks without interruptions. Managing assets, processes, and vendor relationships to deliver 24/7 services while being efficient and cost-optimal. Responsible for creating compelling vision, strategies and executing in partnerships with key stakeholders. You enjoy designing and implementing sophisticated solutions that are effective and aligned with our business operation and security policies among others. • Review and update IT Security Policies and Procedures in collaboration with Security, Manager.
• Manage company toolings, access and configuration, e.g. G-suite, Slack etc.
• Provide IT support via ITSM tool FreshWorks
• Engage in discussions with stakeholders, such as department heads on the best possible outcomes for teams and projects.
• Manage company assets, software licenses/policies and automations.
• Provide guidance and support to members of the organization regarding issues and faulty systems.
• Automate your way to success.
• Allocate time for personal professional growth.

Technical Skills

• Experience with MacOS and Windows operating systems maintenance as an administrator.
• Systems and Network Administration experience (3y+). Preference for Unix systems.
• Solid understanding of IT Infrastructure components (Storage, Networks, Hardware, Operative Systems, etc). Experience with datacenters (local or cloud) is a plus.
• Experience automating systems and user provisioning remotely.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving proficiency. Always there to help and always up for a challenge. “Broken” just means that a new puzzle has appeared!
• Always on the lookout for emerging technologies.

Human Skills

• Able to inspire your colleagues and motivate them.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Debugging issues is 70% communication after all!
• Good time management and prioritization skills, as problems appear and evolve and you need to keep up with the challenge.
• Able to cope under pressure when there are incidents or higher volume of demand.
• Problem solving and decision making are second nature to you. You think critically and strategically, considering both technical and business factors.
