Your role
Your mission is to make us as invulnerable as possible to attacks and unauthorized access to our systems, while preserving or accelerating employee productivity. You’ll be responsible for constantly assessing our IT and security, remediating gaps, and evolving it as the business evolves. You’ll streamline internal IT operations, making our team more productive and creating more capacity in People Ops, EA, and Platform Eng.
Responsibilities
- Manage the necessary hardware and software the team needs to do its job
- Provide IT support for employees, troubleshoot issues, and manage onboarding/offboarding.
- Proactively monitor and address security risks
- Create and enforce IT policies for security, access, and equipment usage.
- Manage IT vendors and budget, proactively keeping costs low
- Be highly flexible to the demands of the team, preserving our ability as a startup to move quickly
Requirements
- Deep subject matter expertise in IT operations and security
- Can operate autonomously in a dynamic startup environment
- Experience scoping IT solutions to companies like ours (size, industry)
- Good EQ, written and verbal communication, and ability to navigate the org to drive change
- Can lead the function and do the work. We’re not looking for somebody to build a team
- Values fit
- US timezone
- Can travel a few times a year to SF and offsites
Benefits
- The base salary range for this position is USD $165,000 - $210,000 + equity + ZRX tokens + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, location, business needs, and candidate preferences between the different compensation elements.
