This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the crypto sector, with a strong grounding in IT administration, cloud-based support, and IT Inventory Management. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. This includes managing the team responsible for maintaining systems and ensuring timely support activities across multiple locations. 
  • Provide guidance and direction to the IT team, ensuring effective communication and resources to deliver high-quality products and services to the organization. 
  • Manage the internal ticketing system and offer general IT operations support, including remote troubleshooting, Office 365, Windows desktops, Macs, smartphones, network printers, and cloud-based infrastructure. 
  • Support cloud-based environments and services to maintain flexibility, scalability, and security across the organization’s IT operations. 
  • Oversee and manage IT Inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and optimization of hardware and software assets. Lead efforts to enhance inventory management systems and improve processes for tracking IT assets lifecycle, procurement, and decommissioning. 
  • Monitor compliance with IT policies and regulations, ensuring that the organization adheres to best practices and regulatory requirements. 
  • Analyze data and generate reporting metrics to support decision-making and operational improvements. 
  • Oversee the employee onboarding and offboarding process, including setup and decommissioning of workstations, access management, and network resources. 
  • Collaborate with the Corporate IT, remote MSP, Network team, and Site Managers to ensure seamless operations across the organization’s infrastructure. 

Compliance and Regulatory Review

  • Assist the Director of IT in ensuring IT policies and procedures align with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance standards. 
  • Review IT and operational policies to ensure SOX controls are effectively implemented and maintained. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support SOX compliance reviews and address audit findings under the guidance of the Director of IT. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Director of IT to improve SOX compliance and policy adherence. 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related technical field preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered. 
  • Certifications Preferred: ITIL, CISSP, or related cloud-based certifications. 
  • Experience: 5+ years of IT management experience in a hands-on desktop and cloud support environment. Strong background in IT Inventory Management is required. Experience with public companies preferred. 
  • Skills: Strong organizational and self-motivation skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Time management and follow-through are essential. 
  • Conscientious, reliable, flexible, and proactive with excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
