ASRC Federal is seeking an IT Project Manager.

This role will be a hybrid remote position working in the Washington, DC metro area with occasional on site support in office in Reston, VA or Beltsville, MD.

ASRC Federal is seeking a Project Manager to join the ASRC Federal, Information Technology, Policy, Planning, and Governance team.

The Project Manager will support the initiation, planning, and management of IT projects across the enterprise. Lead and guide the work of project teams, plan project stages, and ensure project delivery for each stage. Monitor risks and issues and work with the appropriate leadership to address and mitigate as well as monitor progress, enforce deadlines, and ensure quality standards are met while remaining within the agreed upon time and scope.

The duties for this role may include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and maintain Project Management artifacts such as Project Charter, project plan, communication plan, project status reports, risk management plan, issue log, change management plan, operational readiness strategy, and project closure documents.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and resource plans
• Facilitate project meetings such as team status, project planning, issue resolution and artifact review, and ensure conclusive results with published minutes including meeting decisions and follow up action items.
• Lead project teams to complete projects on time, on budget and with highest level of quality.
• Ensure that project risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated for successful project delivery.
• Ensure project team compliance with company project management and governance standards.

Essential for the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a hybrid set of skills covering technical, analytical, project management, organizational change management, communications, and presentation skills. The candidate will possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, strong critical thinking skills, complex problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a willingness to make decisions in a highly detailed, matrixed, demanding, and collaborative environment.Independently thrive in a collaborative, high-demand, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Project Management or Program Management support.
• PMP certified Project Manager preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in interacting with Senior Leadership.
• Well-developed organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
