IT Risk & Compliance Analyst (Junior)

Simpalm is seeking a motivated and detail-orientedIT Risk & Compliance Analystto join one of our direct clients in Dallas, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals who are passionate about IT risk, compliance, and cybersecurity governance. You will play a key role in supporting the organization’s compliance framework, managing IT risk processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory adherence and risk reduction. This role is ideal for someone who has1–3 years of experience in IT compliance, IT audit, or IT riskand is eager to grow their career in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). Key Responsibilities: • As theIT Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will: • Serve as theprimary point of contactfor identified IT risks and vulnerabilities, ensuring timely tracking from identification to remediation and closure. • Support internal and external audits(HIPAA, HITRUST, SOX, and other regulatory frameworks) by preparing evidence, documentation, and reports. • Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams toidentify, document, and mitigate compliance and IT risk issues. • Contribute toongoing monitoring and reportingof compliance status and IT risk posture. • Assist inawareness and training initiativesto promote compliance and risk culture across the organization. • Stay updated withregulatory developments, industry standards, and IT risk management trendsto provide proactive insights. • Support the adoption and use ofcompliance tools and risk management platformsto streamline processes. Required Qualifications: • 1–3 years of professional experiencein IT Compliance, IT Audit, IT Risk, or a related field. • Basic understanding ofIT risk management, vulnerabilities, and regulatory frameworks. • Familiarity withNIST CSF, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks(preferred). • Stronganalytical, organizational, and documentation skills. • Excellentcommunication and teamwork abilities. • Exposure to compliance or risk management tools (a plus).
