IT Support Technician

Leidos has an immediate opening for an IT Support Technician to join our End User Support team in Huntsville - AL. In this role, you will perform desktop support for end users at Leidos customer locations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of technical support experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Support and maintain computers in a managed Windows 10/11, Mac, and Linux desktop environment.
• Configuration and support of peripheral devices.
• Support and troubleshooting of common desktop applications to include, but not limited to: M365 Suite, McAfee/Trellix Drive Encryption), BIGIP VPN, PKI Smart Card middleware and hardware, endpoint backup software, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Provide local/remote support for hardware and software issues utilizing remote assist applications (Teams, Bomgar, etc.).
• Document & follow processes, procedures, knowledge articles related to support environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of desktop support experience in a large corporate environment. Additional years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Experience with providing remote desktop support, including troubleshooting of common desktop applications (such as MS Office Suite, McAfee encryption, Endpoint, etc)
• US Citizenship is required and able to obtain a federal security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in supporting Mac OS and iOS devices
• Microsoft Visio network documentation experience
• MCP/MCSA/MCSE, A+, Network+, Security+

Please note that actual salary is closer to the middle of the pay range.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
