PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of the IT department including planning, supervision and control of all installation and maintenance of all information systems software and hardware. If you are interested in joining an Apple shop with Petabyte in-house storage, advanced Quantum tape system, EMC Isilon Storage, and SQL databases, come and join our team. We are looking for a candidate who has an advanced knowledge of Apple systems, an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Linux and an intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft Azure and Office 365 Suite.

NETWORK, SERVER, AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS

• Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements
• Assist in the proposal, buildimng, and maintanence of the server environment
• Assist in the Design server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes
• Create shell scripts for task automation
• Ensure compatibility, interoperability, and integration, of in-house and web-based computing systems
• Ensure mobile and in-house telephone systems are available and operating
• Ensure daily system back-up is performed
• Maintain a real-time hardware & software inventory system
• Perform other related duties as assigned

SUPPORT

• Provide technical support to users as needed
• Ensure support of mission critical business systems
• Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot problems and identify and implement solutions
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Specialized Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Ability to obtain an advanced understanding of Oracle, MySQL, Shell (Bash, etc.), Microsoft Windows, Apple Operating Systems IOS, MacOS, WatchOS, and TVOS, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, RAID, SAN, DAS, PHP, MySQL, Java, Apache, and VMware

Education/Licenses/Certificates

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field required

Other Requirements

• At least two years of experience in IT
• Ability to assist with Project management
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must not require future company sponsorship
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test
• Must be able to travel up to 5%
