IT Systems Administrator

Job Description:

• Technical support for IT systems; servers, network, as well as purchase, configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of computer hardware.
• Troubleshoot and Configure:
  • Servers and Applications
  • Network (Cisco and Netgear) and Connectivity
  • Firewalls (SonicWALL) and Gateways
  • Active Directory, Office 365, Box.com, Okta, Confluence, Jira Administration, AWS and Azure
  • Supplement helpdesk when necessary:
    • General network connectivity, file access
    • Active Directory account creation and password resets
    • Phone system support (VoIP)
    • Provides day to day desktop support to user community
    • Software license management
    • Computer and network system maintenance and support

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…

• Must be proficient with Windows Server 2016/2019, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Office 2016, Office 365, Okta, Box, Azure, AWS configuration, VPN client software
• Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills with attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and strong follow-up with users
• Must have minimum 2-3 years of IT systems administration support experience
• B.S. in computer science or equivalent experience

• CCNA or other network certifications a plus
