Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks effectively. Duties • Perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. • Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure high standards of cleanliness and appearance. • Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. • Maintain facilities by performing minor maintenance tasks, including residential painting and repairs when necessary. • Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Experience • Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is necessary. • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus. • Experience in facilities maintenance or porter services is advantageous. • Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is beneficial for this role. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
