Janitor - Maintenance

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial and maintenance duties, with a strong focus on cleanliness and upkeep of both office and shop spaces. Responsibilities • Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in all areas. • Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks to keep facilities in good working order. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies need replenishing. • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management, ensuring timely resolution of issues. • Ensure all areas are compliant with health and safety regulations by following proper cleaning protocols. • Cleaning and maintaining office and shop bathrooms and breakrooms Experience • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred. • Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. • New employee needs to be a team player and be willing to listen and take advice and direction Join us in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for all!
