Janitor - Maintenance

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and functionality within our facilities. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. Responsibilities • Perform industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs. • Carry out custodial duties such as trash removal and recycling management. • Assist with floor care activities including buffing and polishing surfaces. • Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management promptly. • Occasionally assist with residential painting projects as needed. • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained. Experience • Previous experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning is required. • Familiarity with custodial duties and facilities maintenance practices is advantageous. • Skills in buffing and floor care techniques are a plus. • Experience as a porter or in similar roles will be considered beneficial. • A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
