Janitor Supervisor

This position pays $18.50/hr. Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Regular and Consistent Attendance • Cleaning all auditoriums prior to opening for business • Ensuring all lobby and hallway areas are properly cleaned prior to opening for business • Ensuring all restrooms are clean and stocked prior to opening for business • Ensuring the janitorial closet area is clean, organized and stocked with needed supplies • Expected to use equipment such as vacuums and compactor • Reporting any facility damage found to the General Manager • Responsible for securing and reporting any found items to management. • Maintain building security in keeping doors secured and alarm set and disabled as required (if applicable). • Ensure all non-public areas are secure including arming, disarming and general operation of the alarm system. • Regularly meet with General Manager or designated members of management to walk the facility, review performance of janitorial staff and implement strategies to ensure standards are being met. • Direct, as needed, the duties of other members of the janitorial staff and ensure that they are completing tasks and delivering standards. • Effectively manage inventory of paper products, cleaning chemicals and other disposables to control costs. • Abide by all federal and state laws with regards to breaks and/or meal periods. • Have knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures. • Required to read and understand training materials that will cover subjects such as sexual harassment and discrimination.
