Janitor/Cleaner

What you’ll do • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness. • Manage floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to create inviting spaces. • Collaborate with the housekeeping management team to prioritize tasks and maintain an efficient workflow. • Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial supplies safely and effectively. • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries regarding housekeeping services. • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues. Basic qualifications • Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles, preferably within the hospitality industry. • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications • Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality settings. • Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and equipment usage. • Previous experience in housekeeping management is a plus.
