Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs. • Assist with custodial duties in commercial. • Support industrial cleaning efforts when required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Carry out minor maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are well-kept. • Provide porter services by transporting materials or supplies as necessary. Requirements • Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred. • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous. • Experience in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is a plus. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
