Janitorial Cleaner Salary:$16/hour Schedule:Full time Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM Job Location:Gilbert, AZ 85233 LJ's Cleaning Solutions is looking for a motivated, high energy Crew Member that performs general cleaning and minor maintenance duties. Summary As a Janitorial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the daily cleanliness and sanitation of office and commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in cleaning and custodial experience to perform tasks such as floor care and general maintenance. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will be essential in executing your duties effectively. Additionally, your relevant skills in industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance will enhance the overall efficiency of our cleaning operations. Responsibilities: • Cleans offices, restrooms, hallways, food service areas and any other common areas that may require attention. • Perform light floor care duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors. • Cleans common surfaces, light fixtures, vents, walls, furniture, windows, and window coverings. • Empty and reline all trash cans in the facility and warehouse. • Restock supplies as needed. • Will be required to use cleaning chemicals properly and safely per LJ’s standards. • May perform routine equipment cleaning. • Work will require repetitive motion on a daily basis and may include bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing. • Work requires lifting and moving heavy items 50 pounds, anything over 50 pounds requires assistance. Requirements: • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent • 2+ years of janitorial experience • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form • Ability to pass a criminal background check and E-Verify Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Life insurance • Paid training • Vision insurance Physical Setting: • Office Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Application Question(s): • Please provide your phone number and email address.
