Curative is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to join our facilities team at a large office building. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for staff and visitors. This
is a full-time role with flexible hours between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, allowing for a customized schedule within that window.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of office spaces, lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Restock kitchen snacks and beverages as needed
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as needed
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper disposal
• Clean glass surfaces, including doors and windows
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills throughout the day
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning products according to guidelines
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the facilities team
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience cleaning office buildings or commercial properties
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Comfortable using standard janitorial equipment and supplies
• Basic understanding of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and safe chemical handling
• Basic reading and writing skills (to follow instructions, safety procedures, and complete checklists or logs)
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in large commercial buildings or corporate environments
• Basic understanding of building safety procedures
• Medical office experience a plus!
