Janitorial Workers

Skyline Service Group, Inc. is looking for professional, experienced, hardworking, and dependable people to join our team of dedicated building service workers. We are currently hiring janitorial staff for various shifts and locations. We offer competitive wages and benefits. We are currently looking for someone to work in one of our South Loop locations as well as our Evanston location. Responsibilities • Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc) • Carpet spot and deep cleaning • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects • Sweeping and Pressure washing of garage areas • Seasonal clearing of snow from sidewalks • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs • Stock and maintain supply rooms • Work with the rest of the staff • Follow all health and safety regulations Skills • Proven working experience as a janitor • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets • Integrity and ability to work independently Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Paid training • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
