Custodian – External Parking & Facilities Location: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, AZ 85034 Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time | In-Person Pay Rate: $15.00 – $18.50/hour (based on experience) Shifts Available: Morning, Afternoon, Overnight Hours: 20–40 hours/week Position Summary: Join our team at Sky Harbor Airport as a Custodian for External Parking and Facilities. In this essential role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept parking structures, restrooms, offices, booths, and surrounding surfaces. Duties include general janitorial services, trash removal, and power washing (where applicable). We are seeking dependable individuals who are self-motivated, take pride in their work, and value being part of a supportive and professional team. Key Responsibilities:  Clean and maintain exterior areas including parking lots, stairwells, and entryways  Service restrooms, staff offices, and attendant booths  Perform janitorial and custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal  Operate power washing equipment (training provided if needed)  Walk extended distances throughout shift to monitor cleanliness  Communicate effectively with supervisors and team during daytime hours Requirements:  Valid Driving License required.  Must pass a background check  Reliable transportation and working phone  Competency with basic administrative tasks.  Physical ability to walk and work for long periods  Flexibility to work weekends and multiple shifts Preferred Qualifications:  Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work  Experience with pressure washing (a plus, but not required – we train!)
