CROSS Janitor/Maintenance SCHEDULED DAYS/HOURS:Monday-Friday, Business Hours (10 am to 4 pm) REPORTS TO:Controller STARTING SALARY:Based on experience LOCATIONS COVERED:San Antonio and Bergheim Position Summary: We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Light Maintenance and Janitor. This part-time position ( Max 30 hours per week) is responsible for the cleanliness, basic upkeep, and general maintenance of two locations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, flexible, and takes initiative to ensure both facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming. Key Responsibilities: • Janitorial Duties (Both Locations): • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors in all designated areas • Sanitize and restock restrooms and break areas • Empty trash and recycling bins on a regular schedule • Dust surfaces, wipe down high-touch areas, and maintain cleanliness throughout the day • Clean windows, glass doors, and common entrances • Light Maintenance Duties (Both Locations): • Perform minor repairs (e.g., replace light bulbs, adjust hinges, patch small holes) • Assist with room setup, moving furniture or supplies when needed • Conduct routine checks of building systems and equipment • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisor • Track supply inventory and request restocking as needed Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED preferred • Previous janitorial or light maintenance experience preferred • Ability to travel between two work sites as part of regular schedule • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs+ and perform physical tasks • Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies, hand tools, and safety procedures • Strong time management and communication skills • Reliable transportation required Work Environment: • Includes both indoor and outdoor duties at two separate facilities • Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods Company-Wide: • Act and communicate with: • Curiosityask questions and be receptive to answers • Integritybe honest, truthful, and accurate • Respectshow regard and consideration for others • Accountabilitytake responsibility and engage • Humilityavoid vanity, arrogance, and excessive pride • Exemplify the CROSS Core Values • Prevent hazardous and unsafe working conditions • Be accepting of continuous changes that will occur as the company grows and develops in the form of project type, project location, and the development of new company systems CROSS CAREERS • Can-Do Attitude - do hard work well, reliably, and with integrity.
