Java Architect

Infosys is seeking a Java Architect The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Java technologies, cloud computing platforms, and modern architectural principles. With a strong focus on the technical aspects of solution design and implementation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology landscape. Proficiency in data architecture, legacy modernization, and hands-on experience with containerization and messaging systems is essential. Excellent communication skills and a self-driven attitude are required to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders. Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofPhoenix, AZor be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience. • Experience in technology architecture, system design, and enterprise application development. • Experience in Java SE and Java EE. Preferred Qualifications: • At least 7 to 10 years of experience as implementing solutions on cloud platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, leveraging cloud-native services. • At least 7 years of experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture to build robust and efficient applications. • Experience in lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable enterprise applications using Java and related technologies. • Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. • Experience in implementing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for application deployment and scaling. • Experience in integrating and optimize messaging systems such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, and solace within the application architecture. • Experience in designing and managing databases, including oracle and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. • Experience in applying architectural principles, design patterns, and sloid principles to develop maintainable and scalable software solutions. • Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with architectural standards and best practices. • Experience in emerging technologies and assess their applicability to our technical landscape. • Explore and implement AI and ML technologies to enhance application capabilities and drive innovation. • Experience in modernizing legacy systems and integrating modern technologies. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on technical challenges. • Excellent technical communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to development teams and technical stakeholders. • Highly motivated with a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
