Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer with springboot. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be in Philadelphia, PA or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
  • All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply
  • 4+ years of experience in designing and developing highly scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot and Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Designing RESTFUL web services using Spring Boot, JAX-RS and maintain state using distributed caching system.
  • Design and develop cloud (AWS and Cloud foundry) based web application components based on Micro service architecture.
  • Design Continuous Integration such as Jenkins to automate the build process.
  • Integrate Jenkins/GitLab CI pipelines to build, test, and deploy applications.
  • Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management.
  • Automate server configuration, ensuring consistency across environments.
  • Implement centralized logging systems (ELK stack, Splunk) for real-time analysis & setup monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) to ensure system health.
  • Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
