JDE CNC Managed Services Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Work with our Solution Architects and Project Managers to define the right architecture to meet customer requirements while adhering to best practices.
• Be the lead JDE CNC in projects, work alongside JDE and Infrastructure Engineers, and provide both requirements and technical assistance to deliver JDE Environments. 
• Perform JDE Installs, JDE Application Upgrades, and Data Center Migrations following project requirements.
• Assist customers in technical requests, staying current by applying the latest tools release and application updates. 
• Help customers adopt new technology and available features to help automate and improve the efficiency of their processes. 
• Configure and maintain the JDE system, servers, and processes during the project phase to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. 
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members. 
• Assist in project phases and support Go-Live activities outside regular business hours if required.

Qualifications:

• 8 + years JDE CNC experience. 
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or Associate (2-year) Degree.
• 3 + years OS Administration experience (Desired) 
• JDE CNC Certification (Desired) 
• 2+ year's professional experience in with major Cloud platform AWS, OCI, Azure, Google (Desired) 
• Candidate must ensure that compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, any other applicable data protection legislation. 
• 8+ Years Experience on the JDE Enterprise One 9.x Platform and experience with some or all of the following: DB Layer – Oracle, Microsoft SQL, or DB2; OS Layer – Windows, Linux, AS400; Web Layer – WebLogic Server, Websphere 
• 8+ years CNC experience with some or all of the following specific areas: JDE Installs, Upgrades, Configuration, Platform Migration; JDE Performance Tuning: DBMS, Infrastructure, Application, Batch, Web Tiers; JDE Clustering, Load balancing configuration; JDE Disaster Recovery (DR) configuration and Failover; JDE High Availability (HA) configuration and Failover; JDE Tools Release Upgrades; JDE Multi Foundation configuration 
• Experience within Windows, UNIX/Linux, or AS400 Server System Administration tasks
• Exposure to Installation, configuration or support for any the following: JDE – AIS, Orchestration, BSSV, BIP, RTE; 3rd Party Applications – DSI, CreateForm, PackMan, Vertex. 
• Experience with performance tuning and platform optimization using monitoring and troubleshooting tools and techniques. 
• Experience with running JDE data and object migrations. 
• Solid understanding of industry best practices and standards including ITIL. 
• Motivated to drive tasks to completion. 
• Ability to prioritize and process multiple complex initiatives, deadlines, and processes with attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of individuals.
