JDE Managed Services Consultant - Manufacturing

Navisite is seeking an experienced JDE Functional Consultant to support multiple versions of JD Edwards for managed services and project support. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supporting Oracle JDE Manufacturing Management.

The candidate will provide proactive and reactive support to customer JDE systems from a Functional perspective, ensuring that customer systems run smoothly and issues are resolved in accordance with agreed procedures and within contracted service levels. 

 Location: This position will be remote with no travel expectations. Candidate may work where they live anywhere in the United States, although candidates in Mountain/Pacific timezones are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure client requirements are met by actively soliciting, identifying, and responding to customer questions and assisting with issue resolution
• Provide 2nd- or 3rd-line functional support in a managed services environment for multiple customers
• Identify and resolve JDE system errors, providing users with workarounds if applicable
• Troubleshoot or debug with developers 
• Propose SQL fixes to database tables 
• Identify ESUs or liaise with Oracle for bug fixes 
• Work collaboratively and build relationships with other consultants, customer staff, and third-party consultants 
• Update and maintain JDE configurations and customizations
• Guide users to follow correct JDE procedures 
• Proactively maintain JDE systems from a Functional perspective 
• Specify projects and test new customized JDE applications or modifications to existing JDE applications 
• Perform ad-hoc project work, including implementations, upgrades, customizations, or process changes
• Follow Navisite Managed Services consulting methods and processes 

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Minimum of 5 years in supporting Oracle JDE Manufacturing Management 
• Experienced in Manufacturing including Manufacturing Accounting, Shop Floor, Distribution and Warehousing modules preferred 
• Comfortable working with highly knowledgeable JD Edwards end users and being able to understand unique client requirements and configurations quickly
• Any exposure to multiple versions of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (XE, 8.0, 8.10, 8.11, 8.12, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2). 
• Good understanding of business concepts & strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as a team
• Understanding of business impact to prioritize workload, especially in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication (written and oral-in English) and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to learn new functionality and customer customizations
