Journeyman Carpenter

SFX Installation is a laboratory furniture and equipment installer. Installation includes, but is not limited to, fixed and mobile laboratory casework, fume hoods, and snorkels. SFX is in search of 2 Journeymen for the NJ and Eastern PA area. Job Description and Essential Functions: Installation of Laboratory Furniture and Equipment. Tasks include, but are not limited to: · Unloading and setting out necessary materials · Installing all materials and equipment per specifications and drawings Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: · Standing for extended periods of time. · Regularly lifting, pulling, and/or pushing at least fifty (50) pounds. · Handling and carrying materials and tools. Additional Job Requirements: · Adhere to all site-specific safety requirements, including but not limited to wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment and attending required meetings. · Submit to any and all job specific background and drug testing as required by the general contractor. · Completed 30-hour OSHA Training prior to working on project sites. If working in New York, must have an SST card as required by NYC. · Comply with SFX Installation’s company policies and procedures. Must be willing to travel within NJ, Eastern PA.,NY and MD. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour License/Certification: • Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location: Multiple locations
