Details below! *TEMP-TO-HIRE OR CONTRACT* Summary of Journeyman Electrician: This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with high voltage, low voltage, and programmable logic controllers. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are performed safely and efficiently. Dutiesof Journeyman Electrician: • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) • Troubleshoot electrical issues using ohmmeters, power tools, and hand tools • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems • Perform renovations and construction tasks related to electrical installations • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project completion • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Requirementsof Journeyman Electrician: • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus • Strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage systems • Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documents • Background in frame carpentry or maintenance person tasks is advantageous • Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail #MFT Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour Work Location: In person
