Journeyman Electrician

Blanco Electric is a Houston based electrical engineering and construction service company with an immediate opening in Houston, TX for aJourneyman Electrician. Role Responsibilities: • Train the employees. • Conducting accident investigations and recommending corrective action based upon incidents and/or trends. • jobsite inspections and reports. • Daily JSA Inspections of each jobsite. • Onboarding (Safety) • Maintain up-to-date certifications in the QR Code system and create badges for employees. • Inspect the GEOTAB system daily to verify the functionality of the cameras and ensure that the drivers comply with company policies and the speed limit. • Provide PPE to team members, reorder it when necessary to maintain stock. • Prepare safety documentation for each specific job. • Incorporation of new drivers, verification of the driver's license (HR), and assignment to the insurance policy. • Leadership skills and strong sense of responsibility Requirements: -Active TX Journeyman OR Masters electrical license. -**MUST HAVE AT LEAST ACTIVE JOURNEYMANS LICENSE** - Authorized to work in the United States -Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, basic physical, background check, and DL check. -Have a flexible schedule – be willing and available to work overtime or weekends if needed or required for emergency jobs.
